Serial Narration. Many of you already know Travis Baldree’s voice because he narrates the Amaranthine Saga. And you’ll soon get to enjoy his narration of the Songs of the Amaranthine (coming in August 2021). Today, I’m delighted to announce that Travis will be narrating the serial adventure that I’m currently posting over on Patreon. Narrated chapters are being added to the perks for patrons! Early drop of Ch1 of Bard & Barbarian will go live for higher tiers this coming Wednesday (2/17). They’ll unlock later (after a 4-chapter delay) for more levels, starting at the Twinkle tier.

Chapter 228: Mysterious
::twinkle::Perks of Patronage. From time to time, I mention my Patreon account here on the blog. It’s where I post Bard & Barbarian (an ongoing serial adventure). Depending on your chosen tier, patrons can expect sneak peeks, snapshots, quarterly art cards, and all sorts of interesting mail. As mentioned in an earlier post, I’m prepping a special mailing for the Lunar New Year (in part because it coincides with the Amaranthine Emergence). If you’d like to receive a red envelope & lucky coins, this is last call. The mailing will go out next week. Join my Patreon at any tier. Glimmers and Twinkles need to specifically request inclusion. Sparkles on up get these kinds of mailings automatically.
Another Option. From time to time, people will tell me that (for one reason or another) Patreon isn’t a good option for them. If you’re able to use Ko-fi instead, since it’s a one-time donation, I’m willing to send the New Year’s mailing to reading friends who buy me a coffee ($4). Experimentation
Tuesday’s Tote. (Yes, I’m a day late, but that’s how it goes some weeks.) Every week, I’ve been posting a new fandom book cover to Goodreads & to the fanfic site. This week we’re adding an homage to Affinity.

I’m not a fan of crossovers, so of course I had to try one. Back in the day, Kurama x Kagome was a huge ship, but I wouldn’t say I went into it for the romantic potential. I was more fascinated with the differences between a hanyou like Inuyasha, who is half of two things … and someone like Kurama, who is both two people and one person. The serial is now complete.

New Chapter. I’ve been so busy with putting the finishing touches on Captured on Film, posting January’s installment of Bard & Barbarian slipped my mind until yesterday. ::facepalm:: The deed’s done. For those who haven’t taken note, Bard & Barbarian is an original story about two of the characters I played in my very first DnD campaign. What can I say … I got attached. So I’m giving them a story. Imber’s and Marc’s serialized adventure will undoubtedly be a stand-alone book one day, but if you want to be a part of their story while it’s unfolding, become a patron.
