She Sells Sea Shells. We’ve added a new pattern to the Twinkle Press storefronts over on Threadless and TeePublic. You can get the Pimiko seashell pattern on items ranging from totes and masks to journals and note cards. Be sure to watch for sales right on through the holidays if you want to build your Amaranthine collection. ::twinkle::
Tokens of Affection. We added a new pattern to the Twinkle Press shopfronts this week! Inspired by Kip and all the kids at Landmark Elementary, who’ve been slipping paperclips into Ash’s pockets for years. ::twinkle::
New in the Shops. To celebrate the addition of Flattered by Flowers to the Songs of the Amaranthine collection, we’ve added the pattern to our assorted shops. You can get them on totes, masks, notecards, journals, etc.
Temari Balls. We’ve added a new pattern to the shops. You can now get the temari balls featured on the cover for Vassal (one of my IY fanfics) printed on totes, journals, masks, notecards, etc.
As Seen on Patreon. Whether you call it boba tea, bubble tea, or even pearl shakes, these drinks are something I first discovered when I moved to California. I’ve tried so many flavors! My favorites are a Vietnamese coffee shake & several of the real fruit smoothies my local Boba Bar serves up. Just yesterday, I was craving a melon one. Lovely stuff.
If you’re a patron (or if you ordered a signed book from me), you may have received one of the promotional postcards pictured below, which includes a short story snippet (on the reverse) that takes place in the setting of Fumiko and the Finicky Nestmate. Brew & Bubble is the coffee shop at a local museum/art center, and they serve both coffee & assorted teas (including those boba smoothies I love). The art turned out so cute, we put it on totes! Now available.
Hug-a-Mug Season. We decided to use the design created for my Ko-fi account on totes and colored them four ways. For those who don’t know, I mostly use my Ko-fi account for a monthly foray into fandom writing. There are a handful of unfinished stories (and their readers) that have been waiting for my time and attention. Once a month is better than nothing. Little by little, I’ll see those fics through to their intended conclusions. ::twinkle::
Bathed in Moonlight. The book cover is so pretty, it makes a lovely tote. To help celebrate release day for Songs 07, we’ve added “Moonglade” to the shops (Threadless & TeePublic). You can get the pattern on note cards, journals, zipper bags, etc.
Release Day Edition. To help celebrate the release of Fumiko and the Finicky Nestmate (Amaranthine Saga, #5), we’ve added the phoenix feather pattern from the book covers to totes (and masks, journals, zipper bags, etc.).
New Tote. Hemmed in Silver didn’t have a tote yet. Since it’s pumpkin season, we took that route as an homage to the cozies’ Frost Festival. The pattern’s available in my shops on a variety of merchandise, from notebooks to note cards, journals, and zipper bags.
Two New Patterns. We’ve added two new patterns to the Twinkle Press shopfronts in honor of my fandom anniversary. One is ninja themed, to celebrate News Hound & Cub Reporter. The other borrows imagery from the cover of Cross & Crosser, which published last year [IY x Amaranthine Saga crossover]. Links to my shops on Threadless and TeePublic are on the SHOPS! page >>
Totes Adorbs. Hey, it’s been a while since we uploaded something new to the Twinkle Press storefronts on Threadless and TeePublic. With both my Fanniversary (9/22) and a new book release (10/22) oncoming, it’s the perfect time to make some new patterns available. You can purchase a variety of products, from totes and masks to journals and notecards.
Aspen Leaves, inspired by Captured on Film (Songs of the Amaranthine, #7)
Apple for the Teacher. To help celebrate the return of Unexpected to “active” status, we’ve added an apple pattern to the shops. Up until now, I focused on giving fandom book covers to completed stories. Over the next few months, we’ll fit in ongoing serials, then work our way through odds-and-ends, right down to the last drabble. ::twinkle::
Summary: Kagome is the principal of an elementary school. Inuyasha is one of their two janitors. [Contemporary AU. Inuyasha x Kagome] STORY LINK.
For those of you who don’t have much interest in my fandom writing, the only real connection you’ll care about is that … Unexpected is the story I borrowed a few things from for Tamiko and the Two Janitors. (Mostly an apple orchard, a local college, some town names, & two janitors, one of which indeed has red hair.) Honestly, the plot of Unexpected bears NO resemblance to Tamiko’s story. It’s unique. And I’m ready to see it through. Many thanks to readers who’ve waited more than a decade for an update. To quote the tale, “Courage has its reward.” And so does patience.
Tuesday’s Tote. (Yes, I’m a day late, but that’s how it goes some weeks.) Every week, I’ve been posting a new fandom book cover to Goodreads & to the fanfic site. As an added bonus, the new pattern is available in my Threadless & TeePublic shopfronts. Totes, masks, backpacks, zipper bags, journals, and note cards are available. This week we’re adding an homage to Affinity.
Summary: He was the last thing Kagome expected to discover in the modern era… a youkai. When Kurama cannot turn his back on the loneliness in her eyes, she’s slowly drawn into his world… and he into hers. Kagome & Kurama/Youko. Canon Divergent. IY x YYH Crossover.
I’m not a fan of crossovers, so of course I had to try one. Back in the day, Kurama x Kagome was a huge ship, but I wouldn’t say I went into it for the romantic potential. I was more fascinated with the differences between a hanyou like Inuyasha, who is half of two things … and someone like Kurama, who is both two people and one person. The serial is now complete.

Summary: Everyone knows that a hanyou comes from the union of a human and a youkai. In this case, the union of a human and a youkai is brought about by a hanyou. A Valentine’s Day oneshot. Alternate Universe. [Sesshoumaru x Kagome]
Valentine’s Day. Yes, this is the oneshot that I borrowed from in order to create Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal (Amaranthine Saga, #2). Little Inuyasha’s (show-stealing) performance led to the birth of Ever Starmark in Bk1 … because Eloquence would also need a little matchmaker. I’d hardly call it copying, though, given that the original fic was a mere 4,500~ words. It caused a stir & inspired much art. Even then, people were begging me to continue the story because they wanted to see the whole courtship. ::cough:: While I don’t plan to add to Troved, you can look forward to Kimiko and the Cycle of Moons (Amaranthine Interludes, #2) once I hit my community goal over on Patreon.

Summary: It’s Halloween, and Kagome keeps catching glimpses of something … or someone … out of the corner of her eye. An imposing presence, an implicit threat, and a message from beyond. Oneshot. Canon Divergence. Modern Era. [Sesshoumaru x Kagome]
Ghost Story. This oneshot (8,000~ words) was written for a Halloween fic!exchange thingie over on Dokuga. The story is ooooold, but it holds true. (Just reread it, and I’m proud of how it turned out.) I’m pretty sure that it was shortly after I posted this fic that I started getting requests for a Kagome x InuPapa stories. Eheh. Can’t deny I’d have fun with the pairing. ::twinkle::
