Be Honest

In an attempt to be the responsible one, Jacques had prepared a lecture—largely anecdotal, geared to intrigue, and… entirely superfluous. Sonnet proved he’d never needed a teacher, and Jacques went from being responsible to simply responding.

Sonnet lingered over him, attentive and generous.

Jacques had always been weak to slow kisses.

Holding back became impossible, and Jacques knew he couldn’t hide anything either. Without a word, he confessed all.

Sonnet lapped up the truth. A growl rattled through Jacques with exquisite authority. He arched and groaned and praised.

Then Sonnet was crooning over him in a sotto voce howl.
