Sesshoumaru had to agree. “I please her.”
Inuyasha flattened his ears and shoved his hands into his sleeves.
“Hnn. I aspire to please her in return.”
“Keh.” It was weak, barely a protest. Then his brother stubbornly met his gaze. “Good for you.”
At that moment, awareness nudged at Sesshoumaru’s senses. Kohaku was thinking of him? No, Kohaku wanted him… wanted to warn him.
“Hear something?” Inuyasha’s ears swiveled toward the entrance, and he eased into a crouch.
“Battle.”
Inuyasha tensed. “Kohaku? Shishi?”
Sesshoumaru merely growled. No need to elaborate further.
His brother sprang away, hand already on Tetsusaiga’s hilt.
