LMM 394: Better Part of Valor

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who’s been at this for a while.

Better Part of Valor

Argent announced, “Today, you will be permitted to mingle with some of our students.”

Josheb leaned forward. “No kidding? But that’s huge! They’re just kids, right?”

“Most. Yes.”

“I almost never get to hang out with children of Amaranthine descent.”

Jacques was favorable impressed. Although Josheb blundered through his interactions with Amaranthine during old reruns of Dare Together, he’d gained some polish.

Respectful postures. Proper terms.

“Also, my bondmate would like to meet you.”

“You’ll introduce me to Lady Mettlebright? That’s… wow.”

“Later. Yes.” Argent beckoned for Jacques to get the door. “But first, my son. He is… a fan.”

  2. “a fan” oh boy. And of course Tsumiko would want to meet him. Argent may begrudge others her attention 98% of the time, but she’s just so willing to offer it.

  3. I regret not reading all of these when they were released.
I have tried to find where they are hosted so I can start again from the beginning, but have not been able to locate them.
You must have the master list somewhere!!!!
