Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially for the one with a specialty.

Paltry poured from silver pots into china teacups, and Jacques basked in the familiarity. He and Sonnet lingered over Western-style cakes and pastries—Churlish’s specialty, according to Paltry—until Valor arrived with Ever in tow.
The boy slammed into Sonnet’s leg. “I knows you!”
“Yes, love. You certainly do.” Sonnet’s tail swung high.
Jacques held out an arm to Valor and coyly asked, “Where’s my greeting?”
Valor snorted.
“Don’ be sad, Jacks!” Ever suddenly swarmed onto his lap and kissed his chin. “I knows you, too.”
With a burgeoning sense of camaraderie, Jacques echoed Sonnet. “Yes, love. You certainly do.”

Yes, indeed! Once this serial reaches its finish, I’ll publish it in book form (print & digital editions) AND there will be an audio edition as well. Travis is entirely game to tackle this tale, despite the unusual format. ::twinkle::
