Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who’s in the know.

Trivial Pursuits
Rook and Jacques went toe-to-toe on Harrison’s trivia contest. Privately, of course.
“What new primetime television drama is made history by casting of Pim Moonprowl, an openly Amaranthine actress?”
Rook made a ready sign. So did Jacques. Tied.
“What’s one name for the wolvish calendar?”
Jacques rolled his eyes. “Too easy.”
“For Betweeners, sure. But most of these folk are learning something new every time he asks a question.”
“Which of these Amaranthine are not part of the cozy clans? A, cat. B, mouse. C, cow. D, chicken.”
“Keep naming them,” challenged Jacques. “First one who can’t loses this round.”
