Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who’s found a good place.

Hospitality
Leaning against the door frame, Jacques basked in the satisfaction of a job well done.
Hisoka was a mess. They’d stolen his clothes and roughed up his hair. He sagged against Deece and clung to Michael’s hand. How often were the people who cared about Hisoka allowed to care for him?
Argent murmured, “Wise choice.”
“Naturellement.”
Hisoka crooked his fingers.
Argent snorted. “You are summoned.”
“Lord. At least offer the bloke a dressing gown.” Jacques crawled across the mattress. “He takes his tea with milk. And I hid the chocolate biscuits under that tuffet.”
Hisoka chuckled. And began to purr.
