“So do you find me attractive?” Jacques was mostly teasing.
“Seriously? You know I don’t.” Sinder’s eyes narrowed. “Are you deflecting? I don’t really care what you get up to. Argent’s the one who’ll–”
“Lord. I’m not trying to bed him. I’m trying to employ him.”
Harrison had returned, a fresh demitasse in hand.
Jacques sighed. “Not that you aren’t bedable.”
Harrison breathed, “Gosh.”
