LMM 518: Lovely Stuff

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the bare-chested one.

Lovely Stuff

Alone, Jacques only took a few steps toward the fairy lights in the distance before asking, “Are you here?”

“Here.” Sonnet stepped into view, clad in loose pants that swished softly to his ankles. Several necklaces looped his neck. He drummed his fingers just below them and confessed, “I’m all…. Aren’t you nervous?”

“Come here.” Using Sonnet’s loose hair, Jacques pulled his head down. “Get a whiff. Anticipation is lovely stuff.”

Sonnet knelt, burying his nose in Jacques’ belly. Then he lifted his face, gaze rapt.

“Ready to run?” Jacques asked.

Hands falling to his sides, Sonnet breathlessly ordered, “Go.”

  2. I’m so behind on everything. Just got my book. It’s lovely, Thank you. ❤️❤️ Since it’s Oct, I’ve started a habit of reading “A Night in the Lonesome October “ (Roger Zelazny) every year. One chapter a day. So much to read!
