Moonless Night
Lord, it was dark. Jacques blessed Ginkgo’s foresight as he stumbled toward the beckoning fairy lights. The flutter of cool cloth against his skin was inspirational, but moonbeams were probably a lot lighter on their feet.
Holding his tiny lantern aloft, Jacques lengthened his stride, only to falter to a stop. A meadow? Had it always been here?
Crystals drifted temptingly overhead, more blue.
Tinier sparks hid amidst ankle-deep grass, pale gold.
Skybellow colors.
Leaves rustled, and Jacques glanced back as a large wolf slipped from the shadows, stealing up behind him.
Smiling coyly, Jacques blew a kiss… and ran.

Now, Jacques needs Sonnet and Sonnet needs Jacques. They will be friends forever.
But wolves don’t need trees – they need to roam, to hunt, to defend and usually a single bondmate forever. Many are dreaming of moonbeams or someone similar?
Trees, cats and dragons love to flirt and play, they are often very wise, but they are not monogamous.
Jacques and Sonnet are still young, but they don’t really know what they are and their souls desire most.
Even Glint, Waaseyaa, Hisoka and Argent find new things or persons, that make them very happy.
Evolution never stopps and true love have no borders.

My HOPE is that due to spoilers, however LMM ends, the spoilers mean that my guy is happy. Personally I don’t think that Tsumiko would allow Jacques not to be and I don’t see Sonnet suddenly scampering off, so QUESTIONS upon QUESTIONS.
