LMM 513: Romanticized

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who can be blunt.

Romanticized

“There’s no romance.” Jacques was skeptical.

“Oh, I wouldn’t say that. This is Sonnet we’re talking about. He romanticizes gruel.” Ginkgo nodded in the direction of the Elderbough pack. “Since it’s you, I’ll be blunt. Every young wolf that’s running tonight is pairing off, maybe even getting off.”

“These festivals. You’ve done them before.”

“Sure,” Ginkgo admitted easily. “Silver hair looks the part. And, well… foxes.”

“Clearly, I was too circumspect earlier. I demand details!”

“You would. Fine. Here’s one. Ponytail entendre is a thing. Give him one and give it a tug.” He smirked. “You can thank me later.”

  2. Jacques ALWAYS ask for details! Especially of Gingko. Argent might get sly on you and roll his eyes, but Gingko understands as he’s caught betwixt and has to work out the signals for himself all these years.
