Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the considerate one.

Really Very Wolvish
“You think I’m sexy?”
Ginkgo chuckled. “Sure. Sexy and sulky and sultry and salty. And you pull off the silver eyeliner way better than I do. More to the point… you feel things deeply, which is really very wolvish.”
“Most people compare me to cats.”
“Look, I know wolves. They embrace everything, even the sad stuff. And what they feel gets woven into their songs. That sorta… changes it. Elevates it. Or maybe just accepts it.”
Jacques pointed out, “Everyone feels things.”
“Not everyone considers those feelings. Or feels for someone else.” Ginkgo strolled on, saying, “It’s really very wolvish.”

There’s a reason the Wolves love Jacques aka Uncle Jackie and refer to him as Devotion. Like recognizes like.
