LMM 494: Know It All

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one whose visits to Stately House remain secret.

Isla brightened, but then her face fell. “Papka might be interested, but we’re meant to stay out of sight.”

Jacques indicated the table. “These are impressive enough to interest the First of Wards?”

“They’re amazing!” she warmly assured, “Inti’s amazing.”

Isla might be clever, but she could be oddly obtuse. Jacques found her innocence endearing. “So they work?”

“Oh! Ohhh. But Uncle Argent was adamant.” She quailed at the very suggestion of disobedience. “Sensei is the only other person who knows we’re here.”

Non. I know.” Pulling out his phone, Jacques added, “And Michael has met Tenma. I’ll text him.”

  2. I agree with Argent, he could do better than just getting kisses from strangers (lord beckenthal’s cabal/rainbow of dragons)

Sonnet is good for him, even if it really will end after the hunt. Poor guy, sees himself as useless and dumb…..Tsk

And will nonny not live with the cat’s son?

Anyway, loved it and love you!
