LMM 433: Wolves at the Gate

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially to the one wearing shoes.

Wolves at the Gate

Adoona-soh’s bondmate sat a little apart with Sonnet, deep in a conversation that cut off.

Jacques hesitated. “Are we interrupting?”

“You are Jacques.” Ninook’s tail swayed. “I have been remiss. Come, tell me about yourself.”

Jacques caught Sonnet’s furtive glance. Lord. Now what?

She blushed and nodded to the bundle in her arms. “It’s fine. She’ll need a whiff of her Uncle Jackie.”

  3. … I went back to the ‘Hemmed in Silver’ book and I remembered Sonnet’s father’s resistance to accept Sonnet’s path.
    Is that better now? Hopefully.
