Josheb struck a pose but immediately wilted. “They confiscated my phone.”

“You’ve no place to put one,” Sonnet pointed out.

“Lord. Let me.” Jacques fetched his.

“Send the pictures to me?”

“Flex and hold. No, not your arms.”  He twirled a finger in the direction of his derriere.

Josheb sighed but gamely complied.

“Will you feel better or worse if I remark upon the cut of your hipbones?”

He snorted. “Do you ever switch that off?”

“I do.” Jacques paused. “Is that a request?”

“Nah. You do you.”

“And you be your charming, rough-and-tumble self. For the children, of course.”
