LMM 369: Dadding

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who’s good with babies.

Jacques held Nonny’s hand all the way back to the house, then used the connection to drag him—hooves skidding—to where Catalan sat at the kitchen table, holding the new baby while he chatted with Michael.

“…quite a few years since ours was this small,” Cat was saying.

“You never considered enrolling them here?”

“With a little wooing, Ambrose might come around. For now, New Saga seems to be working out.” Cat met Jacques’ gaze, then took in the scowling teen. “Hello. You must be Nonny.”

Cat’s eyebrows lifted.

Jacques breezily explained, “He can’t help it. He’s fifteen.”

    • In this case, “them” is gender neutral. Because I’m not telling.

Though it’s not like you’ll never find out. ::cough:: Kimiko and the Cycle of Moons ::cough::
