LMM 326: Catch as Catch Can

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. “Smythe. How much longer do you plan to monopolize that young man?” Argent strolled forward, Tsumiko on his arm.

“We’ve been caught.” Jacques wasn’t really surprised, but he pouted on principle.

“I am the only reason you remain unnoticed.”

Tsumiko hurried into her little brother’s arms, and Jacques moved to Suuzu’s side. “Can you stay?”

“Until tomorrow.” The phoenix’s expression was pensive.

Jacques followed his gaze and thought he understood. “He’s caught up.”

Suuzu sighed.
