Chapter 270: Trusted
Kagome was pleased when they reached the taijiya village’s haven. Miroku hurried forward, offering a hand for Shishi’s inspection. The rest gathered but stayed well back.
“Aren’t there more than before?” asked Kagome.
“There are.” Miroku beamed. “Masa was able to get word to a few trusted friends.”
Inuyasha asked, “Were they followed?”
“Sango has been patrolling. Let me introduce you!”
While Miroku forged ahead, Sango caught Kagome’s arm. Nodding to Sesshoumaru, she pulled her away.
“What happened?” Sango demanded.
Kagome laughed. “Which part?”
The taijia glanced back and startled. Sesshoumaru had followed. Closely.
Sango frowned. “Maybe begin with him.”

Ah, there goes my word! 🥰 We love a good “catch Sango up” moment, hahaha. It’s such a great way to see everything at a glance and know exactly how Kagome feels about her new connection to Sesshomaru. I wonder what Sango will say!

Yah! While I’m sad to see daily Jacques updates go away, I’m delighted to have Mood Stripes back. Sango has a lot of catching up to do.
