Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the perceptive one.

Clever Boy
“Is your fox a good fox?”
“He’s certainly good at being a fox. “
“Tricky fox?”
“Argent embodies foxiness.” Wading into the water, Jacques muttered, “Lord. This is convincing. And me without sunscreen.”
Inti snickered. “Fussy, frisky fop.”
“Guilty as charged. But you don’t want to know about me.”
“Maybe, maybe. Jacques is holding Inti.”
“Au contraire. You’re riding me.”
Inti slid down far enough to dip a toe in the water. “Not here. There.”
“Ah. You must admit, the bed’s dreadfully narrow.”
“Gentle, gentle, gentleman.”
“And you are cunning enough to interest foxes?”
Inti’s expression soured. “Guilty as charged.”

Ohhh…is he about to spill…maybe? Inti has always been very close about himself. But he does seem to have Jacques number. But he might still be surprised. Thanks for updating.

In his own way, Inti is as mysterious as Argent… I just know that there’s waaaaay more that Inti knows and isn’t telling.
