Sesshoumaru had wondered what sorts of demands Inuyasha might make of him, but all he asked for were more stories. Just like a pup.
As a human, Inuyasha changed in small ways. Shifting scent. Softer voice. Silkier hair. He pressed close, held on, and went limp. Sesshoumaru found his brother’s trust oddly satisfying. This wasn’t any kind of victory, but he felt he’d gained something good.
And because of him, he would gain something more.
He nudged Kagome’s hair.
“Hmm?” She lifted her face.
Such an inviting angle.
“Hnn,” Sesshoumaru answered, nuzzling her cheek.
Her lips parted.
He didn’t hesitate.
