Chapter 259: Founded

To Kagome’s delight, Sesshoumaru shared a childhood memory of his father, who liked to play what he called puppy games. Part training. Part excuse to cuddle.

“So he wasn’t all pomp and conquer?” Inuyasha asked longingly.  

“Not in his own den,” Sesshoumaru quietly confirmed.

“Wish I could’ve been part of all that.”

“Hnn.”

Kagome pointed out, “This is a den.”

“Keh. It’s not the same.”

“No, but… it’s ours for tonight.”

“Like playing house?” Inuyasha snorted. “I’m not a runt anymore.”

Sesshoumaru’s tone was light. “You could be considered this den’s founder.”

“Meaning… what? I make the rules here?”

“Hnn.”
