“So he wasn’t all pomp and conquer?” Inuyasha asked longingly.
“Not in his own den,” Sesshoumaru quietly confirmed.
“Wish I could’ve been part of all that.”
“Hnn.”
Kagome pointed out, “This is a den.”
“Keh. It’s not the same.”
“No, but… it’s ours for tonight.”
“Like playing house?” Inuyasha snorted. “I’m not a runt anymore.”
Sesshoumaru’s tone was light. “You could be considered this den’s founder.”
“Meaning… what? I make the rules here?”
“Hnn.”
