Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who gets right to work.

Positive Reinforcements
“While it’s true Argent’s finery survives on a wing and a prayer, today’s disaster is culinary in nature.”
Randolla chuckled through Jacques’ description of Stately House’s emergency.
He perked up at the prospect of fitting denim to Starmark thighs.
And he begged an introduction to Sonnet, who arrived in a demure swish of skirts to serve Argent a steadying cup of tea.
He asked, “Is it over?”
“Not just yet.” Sonnet lightly asked, “Do either of you cook?”
Jacques glanced at Argent, who sighed and said, “I do. And Smythe can manage with direction.”
Sonnet beamed. “Roll up your sleeves!”

It is Sonnets first day at Stately House – the timing is perfect.
Kittens will purr before the day is over.
