Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who gets their way.

Asking the Wrong Person
While Michael put on a dad face and escorted Timur from the room, Sinder grinned at his partner. “You’re wasting your time, Jacques. He always resorts to cryptic questions when he doesn’t have any answers.”
Juuyu frowned. “Can any one Amaranthine answer for all Amaranthine?”
“See what I mean?”
Jacques thought he did. “You’ve never been in love?”
Ignoring his partner’s dig, Juuyu moved closer so that Lilya’s reaching hand could meet Kyrie’s. “Must one be in love to recognize it?”
“Non.” Jacques almost felt sorry for the guy. “Usually, the one in love is the last to recognize it.”

Bless your heart Jacques. Don’t you just want to hug him? (Could it resist our favorite Southern saying🥰).
