LMM 133: Pent Up

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who’s found family.

“I am Suuzu Farroost. Akira is my… classmate.”

Jacques tried to do the thing Argent always did with his eyebrow. It must have worked a little. Suuzu’s gaze dropped. “Touch is unavoidable. Akira can be… demonstrative.”

“Ojisan!” The kid suddenly threw his arms around Jacques in a fierce hug.

“Quite.”

Words flowed in Japanese, with Tsumiko sounding both pleased and pleading.

“Akira does not remember his father or mother,” translated Suuzu. “What family he and Lady Tsumiko have mostly deal with them through lawyers. She warns that you will undoubtedly be subjected to a lifetime of pent up filial devotion.”

  3. This is just so heartwarming. Because you know that as much as Akira is so happy and excited to have family, even distant family through birth and marriage, Jacques will be equally enamored with having a “little nephew” 🥰❤️🥰
