Chapter 144: Incomplete
Sesshoumaru let go of the boy’s hair, petting it twice before withdrawing.
But Kohaku scooted closer. “I’m part of it, aren’t I? Both me and Kagome-sama?”
“Something… changed,” he admitted. “I have changed.”
He accepted that with a nod. “Three things, then. Well… three so far.”
Sesshoumaru blinked.
Kohaku smiled. “The Shikon-no-Tama is also known as the Jewel of Four Souls.”
“Explain.”
“I’m not sure I can. I think I’ve changed, too.”
“Hnn.”
He cautiously asked, “Doesn’t it make sense that there are four souls involved?”
Sesshoumaru frowned. “Does it?”
With a small shiver, Kohaku said, “It does to me.”
