Lavish Provisions
Michael laughed outright. “I told you we should have roused him and tucked them in together.”
“Did you?” inquired Hisoka, turning a page.
“I’m sure I did.” Michael teased, gesturing toward provisions heaped on the bureau. “All the little loving touches are from Lapis.”
Expensive chocolates. Tea things. Tinned biscuits. High-end bento boxes. And a sparkling decanter. “Is this…?”
“Starwine,” Michael confirmed.
Jacques hid his pleasure by perusing a teetering stack of books. “Lord Mossberne reads romance novels?”
Hisoka smiled. “I speak for the cat clans, Mister Smythe. Not for Lapis. Save questions of a personal nature until he wakes.”

Very nice enticements indeed! Hisoka likes romance novels? That explains a lot. Sooo…does this mean we get to learn more about the mysterious cat clans?
