Chapter 137: Amazing

Even before she was fully awake, Kagome’s hands were up, shielding her head from … what?

Something pinged her shoulder and pattered to the floor.

She lifted her head and spied cave walls. A scattering of pebbles. Twin glint of gold. Sesshoumaru’s eyes.

Kagome scrambled to her knees. Whoa. Were Inuyasha and Kohaku really cuddled up to Sesshoumaru? “Aww, you guys!” she whisper-squealed.

“Hnn.” Sesshoumaru rolled another pebble between thumb and forefinger. “Sunrise is soon.”

“Have you ever seen?”

A small headshake.

Hugging Inuyasha’s haori around her shoulders, Kagome touched an upraised finger to her smile. “Your brother is amazing.”

  2. Wow! How on earth did Sesshoumaru manage to convince Inuyasha to sleep next to him??? I need to see that scene! Was he just too sleepy or something? And the sight of Kohaku sleeping peacefully next to him helped him lower his guard a little? Aww, I really wanna know.
On another note, awesome fic! (Any chance you’d ever write a fic with Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru working through their violent history and becoming closer as the main premise? *Pretty please?* )
