Chapter 136: Brave
Inuyasha marveled over Kohaku’s compliance. Not only had he surrendered himself into the bastard’s clutches, he’d curled up beside Sesshoumaru, head pillowed on a billow of fur.
“Brave kid,” he mumbled, stifling a yawn.
“Sleep,” Sesshoumaru ordered. “I will keep watch.”
“Can’t.” Inuyasha rubbed at the side of his face. “No way I’m putting my ramen supply at risk.”
“Explain.”
“This once, I thought I was doing her a favor, letting her sleep.” He managed a fleeting smile. “Kagome really hates missing sunrise.”
“Your transformation.”
“Keh.” He shrugged. “Guess it’s something to see.”
Sesshoumaru’s brow quirked. “I will wake her.”
