Chapter 127: Halfhearted
“Bring the light closer,” ordered Sesshoumaru.
“Oi,” protested Inuyasha, though his voice lacked its underlying growl. “I told you I don’t like being stared at.”
But the tucked chin lifted, and violet eyes glared halfheartedly.
Sesshoumaru had expected the new moon to erase every trace of their father’s bloodline, but Inuyasha still looked like their sire, albeit a darker version. Slowly, carefully, Sesshoumaru lifted aside hair to find Inuyasha’s human ear.
His brother quickly scooted to the den’s back wall. “Just shut up.”
“Hnn?”
“Not you. Me.” Inuyasha’s scent fluctuated wildly. “I sometimes talk too much on my human night.”

I love how much both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru have been growing. The pace is nice and it’s sweet to see the brothers coming closer.

My only complaint is that I want more every time you put out another chapter (grin), which I suppose isn’t a real complaint at all and actually a very good thing from an author’s perspective!

That was such a revealing moment for these two. Kagome must be sitting back taking notes.

‘Acceptance’ and ‘curiosity’ from Sesshoumaru are beautiful things! Enjoy, guys!
