January Mailing

Includes a Rhomiko Excerpt! I finally received my box of art cards from the printer for the January mailing (better late than never). They include an excerpt from the upcoming series finale, Rhomiko and the Confirmed Bachelor, which I’ll need to push off another month. Probably looking at a March release now. And because we’re getting closer to the release of Rhomiko and the Confirmed Bachelor, I’ve included an excerpt from Bk7 on the card’s reverse. ART: Catnap

Long Sleep. Amaranthine don’t need sleep often, but when they “go deep,” it’s often for days. Of all those you’ve met, Hisoka-sensei may have the most difficult time catching enough rest. His many obligations tend to infringe upon a normal sleep pattern. But Argent (ever the strategist) has found an effective counter. While Hisoka cannot indulge every month (and still pushes his limits), he’s found a safe haven in Jacques Smythe.

I’m regularly reminded by readers that Hisoka-sensei may not be IY canon… but he should be.  I have a small pile of fanart for the longsuffering, diplomatic neko-youkai. Here’s one of them!

There’s been a quiet clamor for fics from those who ship Hisoka with Kagome. I’ve given permission for a few other fandom writers to add him to their stories. And as I’ve mentioned before, Hisoka-sensei has a place in my upcoming original story. Which has seen its share of delays but is most definitely COMING SOON!
