Narrated Edition. Bard and Barbarian has been posting slow and steady over on my Patreon account. Reading along is great, but supporters on some tiers can now listen along. Ch8, “Nameless” just went live for those in qualifying tiers. AND Ch4, “Tell Me More” just unlocked for the Twinkle and Sparkle tiers.

“Remember how Dad would take us camping?”
Caleb held up a hand. “Invite Dad. He’d be thrilled.”
Josheb’s eyes narrowed. “I’m making this official. I dare you, Caleb Dare.”
“You can’t.”
“Can, too. Just did.” From his doubly superior height, Josheb smirked. “Live up to the name, or live down the shame. You know what’s riding on this.”
He did.
As one, they both looked to Nessie, whose tail thumped the floor.

Do you have Discord? Oh, m’dears, I am giddy. I have been saving up a nice treat for you, and I can finally share the news. As you know, Travis Baldree is our narrator for the Amaranthine Saga. Currently, the first three books are available in this format. The quarantine rather disrupted Tantor’s production schedule, so Bk4: Mikoto and the Reaver Village and Governed by Whimsy: The Anthology have been patiently waiting their turn. And … it’s their turn! ::twinkle::
Why you really want Discord. As it happens, when the publisher/author allows, Travis streams while he works. Release Dates. Governed by Whimsy: The Anthology will release in audio format on August 10, 2021. And Mikoto and the Reaver Village is scheduled to release a week later, on August 17, 2021.

Captured on Film. After a lengthy delay, Captured on Film (Songs of the Amaranthine, #6) is beginning to crop up in other venues. It’s live on the Barnes & Noble site, which means the wait is (or nearly is) over for those still waiting to meet the Dare brothers. **ADDENDUM: Yep, it’s live on the Kobo site, too!
This means that by the end of the month, I’ll be able to share quotes or character art or some of the other fun stuff that’s come my way since Songs 06 first released. ::confetti toss::
“I have two fathers.” In the aftermath of the accidental proposal, I’m sure Quen would have liked Uncle Laud’s opinion on the matter. After all, Laud practically raised him. Quick Reminder: Laud Starmark is one of Harmonious Starmark’s younger brothers. As you can see, Laud strongly resembles his mother (Radiance), having inherited the Ambervelte pack’s distinctive coloring.

Wolfs has tails!” exclaimed Ever, his own a blur. “But dogs is best.”
Tenma asked, “Are you a dog?”
It was exactly the right thing to ask. “Yeth! Like Da. Him’s mine.”
Lapis interjected, “What of poor Eloquence?”
“Yeth.” Ever belatedly acknowledged the dragon a wiggle-fingered wave and patiently explained, “Him’s mine, too. My bruvver.”
“And the silent lout over there?” inquired Lapis.
“Rise. Him’s mine, too.” In a loud whisper, Ever explained to Tenma, “Him’s Kiff.”
The dragon lord chuckled. “I was referring to the one with no ready excuse for his reticence.” At Ever’s obvious confusion, Lapis offered a broad hint. “The one with white hair.”
“Uncle!” With that, Ever slid from Tenma’s lap and trotted across to Laud, who sat on the floor beside the door.
Eloquence explained, “Laud Starmark raised me and remains my mentor. My den is his den.” He tried to think of a way to explain their relationship so a human could understand. “I have two fathers.”

Running Low. I hadn’t realized how low my stock of books had run until I filled a couple of orders and took the next-to-last copy. Time to place an order with the printer! I was low on bookplates, too. (Oops.) A quick check confirmed that I was out of large blue bubble mailers (the kind that neatly fits 4 books). PLUS … I’ve started get orders for All The Books (5+). So I did some quick measuring and will soon add boxes to my repertoire. Once those come in, I’ll have to snap a photo for you.
