One of the many (many, many) details I need in place before I can release Book 2 … is Book 3’s summary, which I’m writing now. And which makes me really (really, really) excited for release day because I am very (very, very) sure that my longtime readers are going to implode. In a good way. ::twinkle::
Current forecast for Bk2 – October-ish
(WHY is August almost over!)
Did you know you can get Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox on the bookshelf at your public library? Most city and county library websites include a place where you can request they add a book that’s not currently in their system. (Which means they’ll buy the book.) So far, two of you have mentioned to me that Tsumiko is now in their local library. Thanks for that! ::twinkle::
This is amazing to me! I have a library book! ::confetti toss::

Brainstorm with me. I’ve been pondering book swag for the upcoming release of Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal. What do you think would make good incentives, enclosures, and prizes?
I still have a stockpile of snapshots taken by readers from our (first) Photo Challenge. Here’s a creative (and dare I say crafty) one from Possessed.
Always glad to see your photos. Post them, tweet them, bookstagram them … and email me, so I can share them here! ::twinkle::
Those wanting signed books now have TWO payment options. You can continue to send me funds with an Amazon Gift Card (which I solemnly swear to immediately squander on books/manga) or you can send money to my new Twinkle Press account on PayPal. Either way, use the always dot forthright at gmail dot com email address. Options—you have them!
Good News! A book box just arrived, and none too soon. I was down to one lonely, unclaimed copy of Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox. Now, I have a baker’s dozen, which are ready for readers who’d like an author-signed copy.

I’ve seen these character boards floating around and decided to do one of my own. Although the original intent seems to be favorite characters (as in one person), I usually gravitate to duos and trios. You all know I ship around, but my favorite ships are very often about kinship or friendship or mentorship. (Though I have a definite fondness for loners.) Behold!
The gist of the game: if you also love a character, you cover the square. Five-in-a-row in any direction gives you a bingo. How many can you get? Impress me! And link me to your bingo boards if you’re making one of your own. ::twinkle::
