This morning, someone ordered a signed copy of Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox, giving me the perfect excuse to trot out my new packing labels. Because details make me happy. ::twinkle::

Does this count as author swag?

Update! Progress is being made to bring you the second book in the Amaranthine Saga, which is now available for pre-order … at least in one place. For now, the Kindle edition can be pre-ordered on Amazon. As we get closer to the release date, Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal will show up in all the other online venues as well as in print. But hey! Not bad for starters! ::twinkle::

Release Date: October 22, 2018
**I will begin taking pre-orders for author-signed copies of Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal on October 1, 2018. Those wanting a signed copy of Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox (Amarantine Saga, #1), you’re in luck. I have books in stock.
Sniff, Sniff. I’m having trouble keeping a straight face over here. (Hey, I can grin as goofily as the next fangirl.) It’s all kinds of adorable that you’re recommending shampoo scents for his lordship. #SeriousFangirls

Quick survey, because I have one person saying they can’t access my links/tabs.
“Unfortunately, the tab on this site doesn’t take us to anything. I have always (for over three years now) gotten an error message when I click on the links provided by this website.”
Good gracious! Are you able to navigate my site’s pages (about page, signed books page, fanfic profiles, da page, etc.) using the menu bar? Anyone else running into broken links and error messages? ::hand wringing::
**UPDATE** I switched the fanfiction links to their numeric “perma-links,” which seems to have fixed the issue for some people.
Pen and Ink. All you artsy types know all about Inktober, when daily art prompts lead to creativity for the month of October. Well, I’ve just been challenged to use this year’s Inktober prompts as drabble prompts. (And I adore challenges.)

Do I Dare? Since I’ve been looking for ways to celebrate an October(ish) release anyhow, I’ve hatched a fiendish plan. What if I were to drabble in the Amaranthine universe? My very first Amaranthine fanfic! (Wait, can the actual author write fanfiction in their own universe? Do potential alt. ships become canon?) Conundrums aside, I have my eye on … a certain someone.
Who would you like to see? And will you be drabbling and/or drawbling, too? ::twinkle::

On release day for Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox back in February, I marked the occasion by adding to Imperceptible (an IY fanfic), which was one (very long) chapter shy of completion. Looking ahead to the release of Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal, I’ve been sifting through my options.
On a related note, I found outlined scenes for a Miroku x Kagome serial that I’d completely forgotten about. They’re my “official” OTP in the InuYasha fandom because that’s where I started. Nostalgia!
So … what freebie fic do you think I should play with? (Bearing in mind that I’ll be well into writing the third book in the Amaranthine Saga when Bk2 releases, so my time for fandom goofing will be limited.)

One of the many (many, many) details I need in place before I can release Book 2 … is Book 3’s summary, which I’m writing now. And which makes me really (really, really) excited for release day because I am very (very, very) sure that my longtime readers are going to implode. In a good way. ::twinkle::
Current forecast for Bk2 – October-ish
(WHY is August almost over!)
Did you know you can get Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox on the bookshelf at your public library? Most city and county library websites include a place where you can request they add a book that’s not currently in their system. (Which means they’ll buy the book.) So far, two of you have mentioned to me that Tsumiko is now in their local library. Thanks for that! ::twinkle::

This is amazing to me! I have a library book! ::confetti toss::
