Like Bees to Honey
Jacques watched the coat racks fill and the stage lights go on. Noise levels increased enough to drown out a popcorn cart, and all arriving children made a beeline for Mr. Peck and his cloverleaf bowtie. They bounced in place or smiled bashfully, and it made Jacques homesick.
So he snapped a picture of his all-American snacks and the bingo cards and dried kernels of field corn he was meant to use to cover squares.
Wish me luck.
