LMM 504: Moment to Spare

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the triumphant one.

Splendid Stuff

The audacity of Tami’s scheme just kept getting better. Jacques was practically swooning. He looked to Argent, sure he’d be pleased.

“I do not require baiting.”

The fox’s gaze connected briefly on Jacques’, and his crabby demeanor fell away. Triumph sparkled in Argent’s eyes, and he let Jacques see it.

The Sunfletch-Reaverson courtship would sway American sentiment. Splendid stuff. But for Argent, this was much more personal. Ash was a crosser.

One who would command a following.

One who would influence public opinion.

One whose courage would protect all crossers.

Argent called, “Twineshaft, do you have a moment to spare?”

  2. It’s interesting to see how the various stories connect. I was surprised to learn there’s only one more book after Pimiko’s. There are so many characters and plot, it feels like things could go for longer. I’m gratefully for LMM for fleshing things out more.

    • From the very start, I planned for there to be seven books in the Amaranthine Saga. We’re right on track for the main storyline.

Agreed that more could be explored. That’s why I’ll be adding additional tales to the Amaranthine Interludes collection. Some over on Patreon (beginning with Kimiko and the Cycle of Moons), and once LMM wraps, there’s another drabble-tale queued up to take its place. AND I expect to write another four stories for the Songs of the Amaranthine collection. So while resolution is a must, “done” is relative,. ::twinkle::
