LMM 425: Too Kind

“I feel doubly complimented.”

“This is awkward.”

“It needn’t be.”

Gesturing around them, Sonnet said, “I brought you into my den.”

Sonnet radiated contrition. “You’re tired.”

“I am. But I’ve given up a night’s rest for men who held far less of my regard.”

“You’re too kind.”
