Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who’s being unusually clingy.

“Good lord, what’s happened?” Jacques kissed Sonnet’s knuckles. “Spill.”
The wolf’s gaze turned soulful. “I should tell my parents about Vanya.”
“Naturellement.”
“But… how?”
“Photograph? Phone call? Letter by herald would be appropriately festive.”

“Did you need me to jot that down? Because it’s well said.”
