LMM 384: Pulling Strings

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the determined one.

“School?” Jacques echoed faintly.

“New Saga High School. Same place Isla and Akira went.”

“So you’re leaving?”

“For a bit.” Nonny fit his arms around Jacques and held tight.

Jacques tucked his boy under his chin. “I thought they had a rigorous application process.”

“Canarian’ll pull some strings. I’d go through the grades like the human students. Graduate in three years.”

“Where would you live?” Jacques ventured, “With Harmonious?”

“Dorms,” he corrected. “So you know, I’m not done being your apprentice. And I’m not done with… how I feel. I’ll come home grown up and sweep you off your feet.”

  2. Nonny is very clever and strong-willed.
At Stately House the kids are too young and the others too old.
The New Saga School will be good for him – he will need three years and make friends.

    • LMM is all Jacques, all the time. So only if he drops by New Saga sometime in the next three years. (Which may not be in the cards, since there’s a formidable time skip between Bk3 and Bk4.)

      • “All Jacques, all the time” man that sounds like a party I’d be down for. XD

Now I have to go back and see if Nonny created any ripples that were hinted at in the books. I can’t believe he was quite as…studious as Akira, but I doubt he made waves like Isla.

          • I need to go on some longer road trips so I can listen to the audio books. I can’t do it during work! Its how orders for events suddenly have entire script segments from TV shows or movies written on the presentation slides XD
