LMM 367: Adorability Quotient

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. “Stop ignoring me!”

Jacques did stop, but only to pull the moody teen into a hug. “I never would, and I never will.”

Nonny clung. “I hate you.”

“Rage against me all you like, but do stop bashing Cat and Canary. They’re quite respectable, and they think your whole satyr aesthetic is adorable.”

“Am I?”

Adorable? Lord, no.” Jacques smoothed his brat’s hair. “You’re rude and stubborn and prone to flight, which leads to perpetually scuffed shoes and aching feet.”

“I know what I want.”

“I thought I did, too, when I was your age.”

“Were you wrong?”

“Ah… non.”
