Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one whose morning is looking up.

Argent must’ve entered into some sort of agreement with Lord Trystholm during the night, because at daybreak—far too early for Jacques’ tastes—he was ready to go home.
“May I lobby for a less precipitous mode of transportation?”
“Already accomplished. Courtesy of Twineshaft.”
“Mmm. Promising. How long do I have to make you presentable?”
Argent glanced down, seemingly mystified. “You were pleased enough with this last night.”
“That was evening. This is morning. Whole new set of foibles.” Jacques stretched languidly. “Will there be coffee?”
“Our driver is well aware of your preferences.”
Jacques liked the sound of that.

Coffee AND pastries for Jacques ☕️ 🧁
Shame, though, I really wanted to see Jacques deciding to wear a flying helmet and goggles for the journey back on Argent 😆

Is the driver well aware of ALL of Jacques’ preferences?
If he will be playing along that would be funny.

Hmm..all his preferences? Just who is this paragon? Time to head home, the dragons will miss him.
