LMM 356: Old Enough to Know Better

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the resolute one.

Argent herded Jacques to their rooms, insisting that his man needed to rest and refresh himself after a long-drawn day. Which was true. Still, Jacques was in new territory, with Argent testily playing valet.

“Did those dragons mishandle you?”

Non. They were quite skilled.”

“They are elders! Ancient and prolific.”

“Many do say that an experienced lover is best!”

Argent scowled and sniffed each article of clothing as Jacques removed it.

Relenting somewhat, Jacques said, “They believe securing my good will means securing yours.”

“They were toying with you.”

“And I enjoyed the attention.”

Argent’s tails lashed. “You deserve better.”

  2. Argent now you’re trying to ruin Jacques’ chances at a harem…Jacques is too smart to be drawn into affections or cuddling he does not see worth his time. He is OLDER now and they clearly meant no harm.

  4. Got to love a protective Argent. His tails are quite ruffled ❤️❤️ I’m sure Jacques only allowed what he deemed necessary. He knows how to handle himself.
