Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who’s conveniently absent.

“Oh, it’s worse than that,” said Sinder. “Lapis is down and out, yeah?”
Jacques stopped worrying about his hair when his lord growled. “Mon dieu. Lapis couldn’t be safer.”
“That,” snapped Argent. “Is not the issue.”
“I think Hisoka is boycotting,” Sinder said awkwardly. “And Harmonious is too upset to think straight, let alone moderate a discussion. Argent, I need you in charge today.”
“Tsk.”
“Here, now.” Jacques needed information. “I missed something. What is the issue?”
Juuyu said, “Respect.”
“Ouch.” Sinder grimaced. “You’re not wrong, but seriously. Ouch.”

I don‘t believe Argent is the right person for this job.
Luckily, he has his man with many capabilities.
This day will change his life.
