Those two had been strong enough to twist the Jewel’s final joke into something good.
There was even a place for him, mostly because Sesshoumaru said so. Like he was the one granting wishes now.
Big ones. Better ones.
Everlasting stuff.
Kohaku and Shishi ambled in, and Sesshoumaru glanced Inuyasha’s way.
“Keh. Go on. We’ll catch up.”
It was big and showy, that orb of light. Whole and lustrous and reeking of sparkly pink, it lifted up and away, carrying four souls toward home.
