The boy held up a tiny key. “We can read it together.”
“Do you know what it contains?”
“Yes. I asked, and she let me see.”
“I do not wish to intrude.”
“Well, it is certainly personal.” Smiling faintly, he admitted, “I suggested she leave it with you.”
“Why?”
“Mmm… she worried it would upset you, but it may please you. You should read it.”
Again, Sesshoumaru could only ask, “Why?”
“Every page, every passage, every pondering… is about you.”

Omg he’s going to be so happy 😭🥺 is it possible for a book to be a love language because I think that’s his lol SO EXCITED FOR HIS REACTION!! Also, the image of Kohaku pulling out the tiny key really just reminded me that they are holding a book the equivalent of my elementary school diary complete with the key and lock you were constantly losing and consequently picking with a bobby pin, and that just makes me so happy. It’s the gap moe for me ✋💖🥺
