Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who always has an opinion.

Up to No Good
“You asked for me, my lord?”
Argent hummed. “I want your opinion.”
“About…?”
With a flick of his fingers, he indicated the crosser.
“Cute. Clingy. Not afraid of me. Possibly afraid of you.” Jacques peered into eyes that sparkled with amusement. “Up to no good.”
“Agreed.” Argent’s expression was thoughtful. “He is more than he lets on.”
Jacques tried unsuccessfully to put the mischief-maker down. “What do you have to say for yourself?”
“Inti is Inti.”
“Jacques is Jacques.”
“Tsk. Take him to bed.”
“Oooh, scandalous!”
Argent sighed.
“Am I watching over his long sleep?”
“Close. You shall dream together.”

Ooooh, hello Inti! Are we going to get some more clues about your mysterious past?
Love how all the crossers seem to like Jacques on sight and also, more fox dreams?
Soooooo much packed into one tiny 100 word chapter (or is it 101 words?)

Oh this should be interesting. I can just see Jacques wrapped up in arms, legs and tail.
