On some level, Sesshoumaru was perturbed that Kagome could see through him. Yes, her insightfulness was likely wish-enhanced, but her attitude toward him was rarer than the Jewel that had bound them.
To be seen… without being called upon to change. Accepted.

Kagome poked his hand. “So… this is duty?”
