Chapter 241: Childish

Sesshoumaru knew it was a childish impulse, maybe even foolish. She’d drawn back with a mumbled apology, but he’d achieved his purposes. Her thoughts had strayed to Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru wanted them back.

“Are you teasing me?” she asked softly.

“Perhaps.”

Her expression cleared. “You actually are.”

“Hnn.”

“I guess you’re more like Miroku than I thought.”

Sesshoumaru wasn’t sure he liked that. “Explain.”

“You aren’t shy about touch.”

The revelation disturbed him. “He has touched you?”

“Not recently. That’s not really the point, though.”

“What is?”

“This.” She touched the hand still pressed to her scar. “This isn’t shy.”

  3. Kagome is FAR from being stupid…just SLOW sometimes. And Sesshoumaru, bless his heart, can be slow, TOO. She’s already been ‘claimed’; neither of them has caught on just yet. I can’t wait until the ‘truth’ dawns!
