LMM 225: Be So Bold

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one with a keen nose.

Be So Bold

“If I may be so bold, you’re rather important to someone.” The wolf sniffed lightly.

Jacques angled his head invitingly.

“Oh! May I?”

“By all means.” Which might’ve come off more come hither if Jacques’ teeth hadn’t chattered.

The wolf crooned and gathered him close.

Jacques shamelessly slid cold hands under a fur vest, pressing into hot skin.

“You’re adorned in so many pretty sigils, I was already curious. I’m glad you called me over.” The wolf nuzzled and huffed. “My! Twineshaft?”

“I didn’t call you over.”

“You did.” He cupped Jacques’ cheek. “My grandsire’s Harmonious Starmark. I’m Sonnet.”

  2. Oh SQUEEE! Had to be a Starmark. Nearly as nosey as cats! ❤️ Everyone has laid a claim. You would think Jacques would be used to being “sniffened”.
