Kagome opened her eyes to find Sesshoumaru quite close.
He blinked lazily, then dipped down to nuzzle her hair. “What is this?”
“Erm…?”
“You are thinking of me.”
She couldn’t deny it. “You came back to us, and I’m glad.”
“Hnn.” He eased his arms around her. “This is different.”
“You mean… from daydreams?”
He hummed again. “You may continue.”
So she dwelled on blue. At first. Weariness wandered to the pink she’d longed to see. And the recent range of soft purples.
“This,” he sighed, burrowing lower. And the tip of his tongue flicked her neck. “More of this.”
